Hello, Im going to install a 4 channel amp (4x50 RMS@4ohm) and a mono Amp (500 RMS@2Ohm)
This will be going into my Jeep Wrangler ('99)
I have never done an install but I have been reading as many posts here as I can find about it.
I was planning on running 4 AWG from the battery to the back seat of my jeep. The amps are going to be under the seat (summer time there's no top on and I'd like to protect the amps from rain)
then into a distro block and run two 8 AWG power cables to each of the amps.
I will be installing new speaker cable from the fronts to the rear 4 channel sub. I read that you want to run your RCA inputs on the opposite side of your power cable to avoid noise on the line. Is this also true for speaker wire?
So if I run my power cord on the drivers side, I should run my RCA's on the passenger side. Would I also route both front speakers on the passenger side as well?
Thanks in advance!
