I have 2 ppi (4200 i think)2 channel amps 300watts rms each (150watts rms per channel) and i want to run 4 mtx 300rms each single 4 ohm voice coil subs what is the best way to wire them to get as much power out of them as possible?

Run bridged n in parallel, so each subs running on 2 ohms?

run two subs off of each channel in parallel so the amp see's a 2 ohm stereo load.
Two amps. Well, from the amp perspective, ideally, you'd just put it at a sub on each channel and go with that.

It's unlikely the amps will like it at 2 ohms bridged - however, if you test that, and it works, then that will get the most out of them. However, you need to watch it, because you could overheat the amp by pulling too much power.

agreed -- 2 ohms mono isn't a good idea, but an amp like PPI (are these old ones?) will probably hold up ok unless you pound on them all the time.

That being said -- I would wire the subs in series and run the amps at 8 ohms mono.
