Hey what type of resistors would you use to reduce from 12v dc to like 5v dc???? I feel stupied asking this but man I have not had to use resistors since I was like 16 so its been awhile lol. Thanks for all the help.

The value of the resistor needed varies with the current draw of the device.

What are you trying to reduce to voltage down for?

If something simple like some LED's, resistors are fine.

he is referring to a hu dc to dc converter replacement if i'm not mistaken
