I am tapping into my rear speakers for my basslink's amp speaker level input. I am just wondering if T-Taps are reliable or if I need to solder the wires together. I don't mind soldering, but it won't be fun soldering a seperate wire onto an intact wire inside my trunk. I'm hoping T-Taps will be sufficiant and if you guys would recommend them

Iuno bout most of you guys but i dont have solder or soldering gun just "laying around" Lol which t-taps can be bought cheap at freakin autozone maybe thats why? im jokin i know he has a soldering gun! OK Lol, but t-taps wil work just fine man.

No, NO and if I didnt say it already...NO!

T-taps are junk, the most useless thing ever invented... I second that notion on never using them or recommending a shop that does use them!

I worked at a shop for a period of time that used T-taps for almost everything...

Want to have a guess at how many remote start/alarms I had to fix for faulty connections?!

If you solder the connections...and solder them properly!! You will never have a problem..

Yep, I worked for a shop that wanted me to use T-Taps. After numerous failures in the first week, I tossed all of the T-taps on my tool cart in the trash, and never used them again.

Dont ever use t-taps, they ****!
Where do you work best buy? cuz they do that shit

when i worked at auto image, people used to come in with problems all the time with remote starts, and its such a pain because the problem is usually with t taps..

Solder/tape.... best possible connection
Solder/heatshrink looks a little cleaner //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
