I have 2 Alpine Type R 12's and a BXi 1210d Amp and im running a 1 ohm load to the subs which are 4. My box is 4.02 cubes internally tuned to 30.3 hz. 2.75" wide port with 41.25 sq. inches of port area. External dimensions are 37" wide, 16.5" high and 16.5" deep. When i sold my old system my friend took my wires, i dont know what they are called sorry, but only the ones that connect the subs to the amp. I want to know how many feet of wire and what not i should buy for these. And should i upgrade my ground wire from a 12g to a 4g?

so you have the speaker wires. Do you need a power wire and a ground wire? and maybe some RCA's? For power wire you dont usally need more than 20ft (matter on the car and where your running the power wire) And for ground you shouldnt need any more that 5 feet ( i suggest grounding on a car right about the wheel well to the strut bolt) And for this "And should i upgrade my ground wire from a 12g to a 4g" MAKE SURE that your ground wire guage is the same size as the power wire!! 4g power = 4g ground

I have my power, ground , and RCA and speaker wires already custom in the car show they dont show, but my old box had 2 seperate chambers so i had to 2 cables that go from the amp into the box terminals wired together since the amp was mono channel. When i sold it though my friend took it so now i have no way to connect my sub to my amp. Also i have no idea how to wire a 1ohm load to a 4 ohm.
