wires?

hey guys,

for the power, ground, and speaker terminals on my amp....do i need to use connectors to hook them up to my amp?

because the way i have it wired now i dont have connectors...i just stripped each of the wires alittle, put them into the terminals of the amp, and screwed them down. It looks fine...its not like a just stuffed the wires in the terminals and screwed em in...i made sure all the wire were in well.

I did use a connector to hook up my remote turn on because it was such a small wire.

alpine mrp-m500 amp...i tried to use ring connectors at first but they wouldnt fit...so i dont have any connectors on it now and it works great.

Just unsure if it necessary/important to use connectors
