Not a big deal YET... but camaroaudio69 problems

Well to start off, i told him i would trade him my Power acoustik PA1800db for his Crossfire vr302. Everything was agreed. He shipped first, i asked if he would pay $20 to cover shipping because of the difference in price of the two amps new, he agreed. I received the amp on a thursday i believe, hooked it up, it worked fine, and then i sent him a pm telling him i will ship out Monday when they can ship out. I had a bad friday and posted my story and he came on there saying "why dont you spend less time parting and send me my amp." I didnt see that as necessary because it tends to make people think bad things about when when i already sent him a PM about when i was shipping and what was going on. I asked him to paypal the $20 so i could cover shipping and get the amp out. For some reason he told me to ship first because i guess he was scared i would scam him. That wasnt really the original agreement, but because i am a nice guy i shipped the amp. HE got the tracking number and still wanted to wait to see if i really sent an amp.

The amp was shipped to a neighbor and he worked things out and got it settled. He told me the payment was pending or something so i deleted all my PM's and just trusted the guy..... well it has been about a week and there in no money what so ever in the account i asked him to send it to. I have sent him another PM telling him that i havent gotten the money.

I am awaiting a retured PM so hopefullly he will send me my gosh darn money or give me a WONDERFUL excuse. This is the first time i have ever had problems with a transaction, and honestly, even though he tells me he is a responsible 24 year old married man and has lots of great references, i dont trust him one bit and dont think he has his head on straight for some odd reason.

If he would communicate with me like i have with him i dont think this would ever have happened, but overall i rate him a 5/10 as someone i would like to do business with.

I didnt want to post this in the buyer/seller feedback because there might be a good excuse, but i did want to get this story out there for people to see.

Cliffs: me and camaro traded My PA1800db for his VR302+$20... things went alright, i got his amp, shipped mine, and he has yet to send my money.

like you said not a big deal. you got your amp he got his. move on IMO. i would. its 20 bucks. my fat *** cant even eat at mcdonalds for 20 bucks lol

Its not about the 20 bucks.... its about being honest on both ends and being stand up and being a man. I dont care if its 25 cents. The deal is a deal.. no shortcuts or anything!!!

i agree with that but this life is filled with to much stress as it is. i'm just saying try not to get all worked up about it. not enough money to get super upset about. call the guy out let people know the kind of dealer he is and call it a day. he'll get his one day.

That is more so what its about. Plus i am in high school and ANY amount of money is helpful to me and my weekends, my girlfriend, my audio. $20 CAN go a long way, but i am more so just trying to say something about what i believe he is. He was giving me shit after i have been very honest and told him everything i was doing while he cant even hold up his end of the deal. IF $20 isnt much to me and i should move on then it shouldnt be much to him so he can just send it through paypal and move on. My amp is like $100 more than his new so i figure he can at least cover his shipping...

Life is too filled with stress and this isnt stressing me out or anything, it is just a total inconvenience for me to ship my amp before he sent my money because he wound up not even giving me the money he said he would. I took it orginally that he would ship the $20 with his amp so i could just take that $20 and my amp and not have to take any money out of my bank account. He *****ed at me because he didnt think i was honest and wound up stealing my $20 in a sense.

Again, maybe he will send my a PM letting me know what the problem was, but as of a week later i have nothing!

After you gave me some cry me a river story and made me wait for my amp AFTER i shipped first id be a little pissed, i dont think its right for him to jack you for 20. But i understand him takin his time.

well.... i just dont understand that. My happenings of that weekend were 100% non-related to my amp or his amp so therefore why does it matter what i did friday night if i told him the amp would be out monday at 2:30 and the tracking said monday 2:31... i was 100% honest and correct with any and everything i have done with that guy.. and just to make a point pretty much anyone i have a guranteed transaction with i am completely honest and do what i can to make it as easy as possible for both people in the transaction. I dont want my stuff messed up, late, or not what i asked for so i dont plan on my stuff to be messed up, late, or not what they asked for.

just a little update: no contact from him yet and no $20.. not crying just trying to warn others that he may not be 100% honest.
