wired down to.5 today.

i would have to fight my box out my car to get my batt out. So charging mine rvery 7-14 days is a hell naw.
First I was like...

Couldn't you remove your power cable from the amp and your ground cable clamp the batt charger to those?
..then I was like..

Would this work since both batts would be connected. And it wouldnt blow a fuse or anything.
..then I thought....

I dont see why not, i mean its just an extension from your battery posts at that point. I doubt a trickle charge would blow a fuse.
wait till someone else weighs in before you try it though.
..then I was like bro...

A trickle charge is about 2 amps or less. It wont hurt the fuse. Cant you just connect it at the front battery?
..and that's what I was gonna say..

My front battery is in the trunk. Have a cobalt remember
...until I read this.

sorry the facts go over your head.
Present some facts first bro. You're just talking..

How often woukd you recommend doing this then? It is a d31 if that matters
As often as you can is the best answer. The realistic answer is get 'em on a charger for a night or 2 before anytime you know you'll be demoing or beating them up. The more often the better.

J31Rob, I was with you every step of the way until you suggested charging them for a night or two before beating on them. While that is definitely better than never charging batteries, I would prefer folks fully-recharge their batteries as soon as they can after they get done beating on them. Whenever any battery is discharged below 12.4 volts and left sitting in that state, sulfation begins to diminish both capacity and performance. That makes a quality battery maintenance device an excellent investment for vehicles that don't see regular use or batteries that see heavy use.

This is an especially important consideration for those who purchased batteries from companies who will void their warranty, if their battery is found to be discharged below a minimum voltage level, which can be as high as 12.5 volts! We didn't put exclusions like that in our warranty, but maintaining proper voltage levels in all batteries will help improve performance and extend battery life.
