Wire terminals question

So, i'm all about using good quality wires, terminals, distro's, and all that jazz.

I'm trying to do the Big 3 and i bought myself some tsunami 1/0 gauge wire and pro series stinger battery terminals

NOW i realized i need wire terminals for the 2 body spots and 1 engine block ground.

My question is: if i used some metal wire terminals that my dad can get me from work for the grounding points on the big 3 wiring, will i be losing out on any power, since everything else is good quality shit?

I get the impression that the stuff you call "good quality shit" is nothing more than regular shit with gold plating or a fancy package. Im not flaming you, instead, I am trying to explain the best way that I can through this message that as long as the terminals are listed and used according to their manufacturers directions, they will be fine.

The most important thing to remember is using something for its designed purpose.

What Einzee said. I personaly think the typical audio crimp rings are crap. They are open, split design, thin and normally not made out of copper. The only thing in my eyes that makes them fancy is they normally have a gold plating. You would be better off using a tinned welding lug or anything tinned that is closed and not open from the front.

Ok, so if i'm using open ended terminals, im not gonna save too much power loss between gold or basic alloy terminals, right?

And according to qtrhorse its better to have a sealed terminal in order to prevent oxidation i think, right?

Otherwise, i can use any old terminal that is designed for this general purpose (grounding)
