Can I ground my amps to the negitive terminal of my battery in my trunk?

I have a battery in my trunk thats being grounded to the frame with 1/0awg. I'm not going to have enough 4awg to ground both of my amps to the frame but I would have enough if I could ground them to the negitive terminal on the battery. Can I do that?

you can, but don't need to. just do a short ground around the amp somewhere.
