Wire question

I am running the system in my sig.

I am wondering how big a main power wire I will need.

If it were you running these amps. Pushing a max of 800W total out of the two amps, what guage wire would you run from the battery to distro block?

Sorry, both amps are bridged so RMS output would be (600x1 & 300x2). I used a DMM to set gains, the sub is set to 500WRMS and the components are on 125WRMS. So Power is 750WRMS, I guess 1500W MAX.

750rms, you should be fine with a 4 gauge run, but I usually go larger.....

I would run a 2 gauge to the block.

Ive never see 2G where can I get it? I was going to get everything from Knu, so maybe I will just go with 0G and then 8G to the 4 channel and 4G to the 2 channel. I am trying to stay as cheap as possible and I already have some 8G lieing around from a previous install.

4 gauge will be fine for that install. You are looking at around 60A at full RMS. Knu 4 gauge is rated up to 100A. Should be all you need.

i never said it was too small....you posted 60A which was wrong and I made sure he knew it wouldn't be 60Amps
