im sure its answered, im too lazy to go find it. anyways, my old speakers were wired to my deck. i just ordered a mutli channel amp to wire up my new speakers to. first off, do i splice the ground and power wire? and second do i add fuses to the wires going to the multi channel amp for my car speakers in case i get a short or is the one under the hood near the battery good enough?

Drill a hole and use the proper protective split loom and hole grommets to keep the outer speaker jacket from knicks and cuts, give just enough...
