Wire Harness question

Hi,

I know this is a newb question but I need to ask somewhere....

I was given a car stereo to replace the one I had in my 98 Mazda. Naively I thinking it was just a matter of unplugging old one and plugging in new one. Well now I know different :/. The connectors from the Mazda don't match my Pioneer connectors. Is there a special adapter that will go from on to the other? Or am I required to make manual connections?

You could try to find an adapter...I bought an adapter for mine at Circuit City that plugged into the factory wiring to get a universal connection - and then there was a universal-to-Alpine adapter that plugged into that. So it's a two part system, but extremely clean and easy to change if you ever decide to switch decks.

i got my harness off that site cuz it wasnt in stores
