Wire gauges i should use!

I am wiring my amp and everything else so a few ?s on wire.

What size goes to amp gauge wise?

goes to subs?

remote?

ground?

and anything i am forgetting!

It is a 500 watt 4 channel amp powering two alpine type R 12's rated at 300 rms and they are dvc and I will wire them down to 2ohm so the amp is said to put out 1000watts at 2 ohm load but I am estimating 800 or so!

4 gauge should be good enough for the amp and to your subs i would think 10 should be good enough
