Wire Gauge Dilemma

Ok so I ordered a 1/0 amp installation kit from knukonceptz. My amp got delivered after I received my wire and I realized my amp accepts at most 4 gauge wire. So whats the best way to connect this 1/0 wire to my amp? My AQ1200D has the jacks with the lock nuts in them.

you can always trim the wire down to fit

or you could have a terminal machined that will accept 1/0 but that would be rather expensive

1/0 in to a block then 4 ga to the amp or 2 ga. u can trim the wire down to fit. but the block would b easy.

might just work. u can use that for your power and ground.

Actually I do work in machine shop, but is there something I can just go pick up at a store or something? I'm planning to install in a day or two.

u might b able to make something. u can just trim the wire. keep in mind u need something for you power/ground wire as well.

this it what i got. works fine in my SS only thing is that with the coating on the out side they are a little thicker then 4awg. But its nothing a file don't take care of.
