I am slowly build my 77 ***** am to do a few meets in SQ. A little about what I am doing.
HU- Eclipse CD5000 or Cd7100
Mids/Highs- Memphis MSYNC8's in fiberglass door pods
Subs- 4 Sound Splinter RL-i8's in sealed .5 cube boxes
Amps- Memphis MCA5004 for mids/highs, and a MCD2500
the subs will have a 2ohm total load, and the amp is rated at 1250 watts @ 2 Ohm.
First what size wire. I was going to do 1/0 into a distro box then 4's into the amps.'
Also where should I put fuses and what sizes. I know I need 1 fuse at the batt, but what about a fused distro block? So do I use one large fuse at the batt, or a smaller fuse at the batt and use a fused distro block.
I am either going to get 2 of these.
