Wire a 4ohm sub to 2ohm?

Hey guys, I ordered two 15" Diamond D3 subwoofers. I ordered the 2ohm version but I received the 4ohm. I was talking to some people and they said I could wire it down to 2ohm. I'm not sure though because of what my amp is. Can you guys just double check to see if these speakers can be wired down to 2ohm with the amp I have? If they D4 ull get a final 1ohm load or 4ohm load. The amp wont work unless u use it at 4ohms.

Right, that's exactly what I was thinking. I have to use it at 2 ohm. I'll see if i can't get the 2ohm version back of these then... gah.
