We live in a constitutional republic, so not having respect for democracy doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me to be mad about it, if you think that's actually what's going on. I just think it's more the left is afraid of trump and they're breaking laws and lying because he has so much populace support. But I don't trust trump so idk what the answer is, outside of people choosing to do actually do stuff with their lives that matter.
I'm not here to parse words. Most people understand the relationship between a democracy and representative republic and that the US is commonly referred to as a democracy. It's not just the left that "fear" Trump; many on the right understand that Trump sees himself as above the "constitutional republic."
