Testifying could be a big benefit to a defendant in a case, but with his record of public speaking it may have made things far worse.

They could barely keep him from commenting publicly. He just has no respect for the law.

I live on the border. I have no problems with open border policies really, but the cluster fvck down here is insane. The amounts of got-aways is higher than ever. Those are the traffickers of people and drugs essentially. Border patrol is so busy baby sitting and being bus drivers that they can’t do their normal operations. The check points that used to exist are wide open. They just release people with a promise to appear in court years down the road with no ID, no legal standing, and a very very hard road to achieve much more than digging holes and cleaning rich snobby douchebags houses and offices. The cartels are charging 5000$ per person, and no one moves through Mexico without paying that. They are making money hand over fist right now with human trafficking and drug running.

It's bad situation and I don’t put it all on Biden. However, at some point we need to demonstrate that we will exercise control of our borders. As you point out the people benefitting the most are drug cartels and human traffickers.

The borders have been porous as fck since the late '70s...but there's no political benefit for anyone in office to actually do anything...they just lose a wedge issue to campaign on...whether for or against...

I agree, although I believe Trump actually made an effort to fix the border rather vs other Republicans that never backed up their words

And the right b!tched and moaned for months about sending troops and once Biden did they threw a fit he was sending troops. Mind you it should have been done before all this but either way they will find something to complain about all while not putting forward any solutions. They claim that wall Trump did which majority of it was already being installed and planned before him by Obama but Trump gets the credit because he is GOP. And what is funny is he claimed it wouldn't be breached yeah they proved that was wrong right away,lol.

If he wouldn't of said Mexico was gonna pay for a wall...more people might of paid attention that he wanted something done...he blew his shot at that though...

I’m really not sure what you are talking about here. Do you know how court trials work?
Do you know the job of a jury in a trial?

Please stop talking down to me. Please stop asking questions and then following with your own answers before I answer your question. You're being rude.

Trial - The trial is a structured process where the facts of a case are presented to a jury, and they decide if the defendant is guilty or not guilty of the charge offered.
Jury - A jury is a group of people empowered to make findings of fact and render a verdict for a trial.

Juries and judges DO use their feelings in reaching verdicts all the time.
Maybe you didn’t realize this or maybe you think the process is all being done wrong and has been done wrong for centuries, but this is the way it actually works.

It’s relevant to this ongoing discussion of the Trump case, and your personal feelings that something hasn’t happened unless you see it with your own eyes.

Please read the bold text. The words are fact and facts. They are rendering a verdict on facts... not feelings. This is how it is supposed to be.

Now, I know that humans use their feelings to make decisions. This is not something I am debating. All I have said is if they convict on feelings and not facts they are unjustly convicting. That's all I am saying. Nothing more, nothing less. This again is why if I am on a jury and I do not see indisputable proof of guilt I will vote not guilty.

This is how words work. When you make sweeping statements, they cover a lot of ground.
“Judging people by using feelings is wrong”. When our justice system works exactly that way, you have stated the justice system is inherently flawed.

It will always be flawed. But it is what we have.

I don’t have one. That’s why I defer to the legal experts past and current who established and “maintain” our legal system.
