Over the past several years, the lighting in my house has gone from over 2,000 watts to probably less than 200. That’s huge. I can’t imagine what it’s like for big-scale lighting like office buildings, skyscrapers, streetlights, etc.

A big company like Bud needs to market defensively - IOW it's more important to keep market share than attempt to gain a new demographic. I'm guessing the beer drinking redneck, transphobic, gun totting culture war conservatives drink a lot more Bud Light than the woke LGBTQxyz crowd by a long shot. Is the LGBTQxyz crowd really going to put down their wine spritzers and start guzzling Bud Light by the case??? I do think some heads should roll for this marketing campaign, which is unfortunate because that means the transphobes win, but it was a bad move by Bud. They seem to have been losing market share for a while. Down almost 5% in revenues 2017-2019. That's not a good thing for the stock price.
Maybe they are doing anything they can think of to try and get back to a former glory?
