Of course he does. So Biden puts on a face of Russia bad and we will defend Ukraine but does nothing but "sanction" Russia. How many of us want a world war over Ukraine, one of the most corrupt countries in the entire world? They aren’t a member of NATO. My opinion, we stack the NATO countries with troops on the border of Ukraine then turn Russia into North Korea. Cut them off from the rest of the world and let their economy fail. Not a single drop of Russian oil should leave Russian territory to be sold anywhere on the world market. As much as it would be nice to just punch Russia in the mouth, I’m not sure that’s a good strategy. There is no way they can afford to hold Ukraine in perpetuity unless there is money from somewhere else helping do it. That’s my worry, is that there is a plan beyond Ukraine. Why would Russia alone think they can invade and hold a whole country in perpetuity? 70% of their military is necessary just to take Ukraine. I’m hoping they don’t have a back door deal with Iran and China to make this a bigger deal than just Russia alone. None of this makes sense to me if all Russia wants is Ukraine. This seems like a first step to a larger operation.

This is far more complicated than some corrupt politics for money. My best friend is from Kazakhstan, which is a very similar country. He calls himself Russian and wishes Kazakhstan was still part of Russia. This would be more like if Mexico wanted Texas back and are the dominant power in the region and decided to take back what they think is still theirs. Our little corrupt politics in Ukraine doesn’t have much to do with this.

Putin wants to reform the Soviet Union. He wants a Pro-Russian government in there to do his bidding just like Belarus.

He and many in Russia consider Ukraine a 3rd or 4th rate country, they don't consider them human beings and never have.

This is just the beginning of his conquests. He will go for more and within the next few months if not years. This is going to affect the world for decades to come long after any of us are still here.

There’s all sorts of corruption going on over Ukraine. Don’t worry, we still have more bioweapons attacks to suffer. COVID was the beginning of ww3.

NATO seems to be on the bad side in this. I don’t support war on either side, but NATO looks worse to me, here, because they seemed to provoke this. The gov in Ukraine was overthrown and that’s a huge part of why Russia is going in. It’s just like a bunch of demons that rule over us, really, and we just sit and wait to see if we get murdered in war or not. The Ukrainians had their card drawn now.

The state of the world economy and geopolitical tensions, full blown kinetic world war could break out at literally any time, at least over a lot of different proxy nations. I would expect the US to see more hacking, like the pipelines were. Only the 10% of the war is kinetic, and we’re not far. This is way bigger than just Ukraine.
