From what I read there were lots of shots being fired and they knew there were wounded protesters. I imagine the police just wanted the crowds dispersed and gone so that they wouldn't become targets while attending to the wounded. In the end it doesn't matter; whatever mistakes Rittenhouse made, trying to get away with the shootings wasn't one of them.

I'm sure they didn't want the guy who just killed two people to admit it. I'm sure they just wanted him to go home and have a sandwich. Gtfoh

Stop spinning. He approached them trying to turn himself in with people yelling "Dude shot somebody" and they sent him on his way and drove off. That's on the police.

It's the wrong time for large scale EV use for commercial trucking, USPS, or delivery vehicles. While the demand is present the ability to produce these vehicles can't keep up. At least not at the moment.
