Which rc do u have i have tryed many different ones no real essues with any over here i would recomend that over vista any day

Windows 7 Half-Price Sale Starts Friday

Consumers who pre-order a copy of Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT)'s Windows 7 operating system will receive more than 50% off the retail price for a limited time starting Friday.

The full version of Windows 7 Home Premium is priced at $199, with an upgrade from Vista or XP costing $119. The full version of Windows 7 Professional is $299, with upgrades going for $199. Windows 7 Ultimate is priced at $319, with the upgrade version at $219.

But U.S. shoppers who pre-order between June 26th and July 11th will receive discounts of 50% or more, Microsoft said. For instance, Windows 7 Home Premium will sell for $49 during the discount period, while Windows 7 Professional will sell for $99. Participating retailers include Best Buy and Amazon, as well as Microsoft's own online store.

i seen a link the other day stating that if you buy vista or a machine with vista after a certain date(which i think was yesterday) you get to upgrade to windows 7 for free.

I'm still using XP at present, but considering change to Win7. Hope it will be much better than Vista!!!

I just pre-ordered from newegg.com

I been running win 7, its awesome. No problems yet, and its so much easier to navigate.

Microsoft ftw on this one.

I always liked vista too though.

I installed Windows 7 RC about 2 weeks ago, after having so many problems with Vista. Constant BSOD, random shut downs, and for some reason, when ever I has my video drivers installed, all I would get is a black screen on the Windows Welcome Screen. Downloaded Win 7 RC, and haven't had any troubles. Don't think i'll be using anything that has Vista in the name again.

I never have had a BSOD on XP or Vista. But I built my PC, it wasn't factory built, so that may be the difference.
