lost my phone. is there a way to track it?

I mysteriously lost my phone two days ago. I had it and then the next second it is gone. I really doubt it was stolen, my best guess is that I left it somewhere and forgot.

It still has a charge, its on vibrate. Ive walked all through the house calling it to no avail. Tried all 3 cars that we own and still cant hear it. Im stumped.

The only places I think it could possibly be at is my work, but my phone is always in my pocket. So I kinda doubt I randomly set it down and forgot. The other possibility is my sisters house. Is there a website or something that can tell me where it is? Like, I input the number and it gives me a city or whatever?

If I called up AT&T, do you think they could locate it?

This is so ridiculous. I really havn't gone anywhere these past two days. I have no idea where the hell it went.

Im sure its going to die in the next day or two cause Ive called it like 20 times hoping either someone would answer or I would hear it vibrating.

I found this one website that gave me the logitude and latitude of where it supposedly is. Not sure if its fake or not.

But Im installing google earth right now to see where it takes me.

rofl thats gotta be fake... Id you could track any phone GPS like that for free there would be alot of crazy sh!t happening.

turn off all the lights in your house and search for it while calling it... Since it is nighttime there is less environment noise as well, so you have optimum hearing and can see it light up @ night.

Search tonight because it may be your last chance while it has a charge

Yeah, the the longitude and latidude it gave me put it in the right city, but no where near the actual location.

I tried my brothers phone number which is at my house and it put it a good 5-20 miles away.

I wouldn't mind paying a few bucks if it will atleast give me a location. Then I could figure out if Ive ever been there. And if I havn't, It would mean its stolen.

The last person I called was the receptionist at my job. They wont be useful.

The only other place I can think of that Ive been to ise the San Diego Del Mar Fair. But that was like 5 days ago. Im almost positive I came home with it still in my pocket.

I walked all through my house, called it in every room and listened. Nothing.

LOL that you thought you could trace your phone to its exact location using a website found through a google search, how gullible are you?

If it was that simple you could track anyone, anywhere, at anytime as long as you knew their cell phone number, does that really make sense to you?

All you did was give a company your cell number(and your brothers) which they will sell to thousands of telemarketing firms around the world, enjoy your new found popularity once they start calling

Ya might wanna go online to your wireless provider and check your bill to see if anyone else is using it.

Hopefully you've had it long enough so your wireless provider can offer a new contract and a decent discount on a new one.
