windows 7 rc

Windows 7 owns XP. The only software I have had issues with were hack-based stuff and Adobe CS4. Adobe all I had to do was delete the cpl file. It has really impressed me, but then again after Vista it wouldn't have taken much.
no problem with any program so far.

i think i'm gonna give this a try, you said it wipes out all of your old programs but you can keep your files? i dont wanna lose photoshop since i borrowed the disk from a friend.
Unless you copied the disk onto your drive I don't think it will work. I believe Windows 7 will only let you do a fresh install. It may let you keep you file structure but it will not upgrade from what I understand. Having the software still on your drive won't do you any good if you don't have the installer.

I recently upgraded my hard drive. Didnt have any probs with the old one so its still in the tower with the new one. Once I transferred all of the data from the old to the new I then installed Win7 on the old hard drive. During the installation, there will be options for the location you wish to install. For me I get to choose which OS I want to start up whenever I power on my puter.

I love Win 7. Its smooth and uses resources responsibly.

For those of you that download movies and music and all, I hope you know that this version watches and reports your activities. So I would be careful what you do.
wok da fok? you serious? thats total bullshit. i dont want anyone seeing what i'm doing regardless of whether it is legal or not. its my computer.
