Windows 7 Problem..

ok i got this computer and its got windows 7 on it but the danm thing will not recognize a mouse... i plug it in usb or ps2 i plug wireless ones in and they turn on but wont move....

anyone know why?

try to update your drivers i have used 4 diff mouses on mine no problem wireless and wired

i love windows 7 best one so far IMO

go to control panel system, device manager- make sure you dont see any exclimation marks in yellow, also try hooking up another usb device and see if that works. If it does then you know your USB slots work and probably the mouse (try like post above says with another PC to make sure mouse works)

the mouse worked on another comp... tried all like 6 usb's hah... and on device manager i go to mouse and say mouse is working properly...

plug the mouse in the USB slot u want to use. restart the machine with it still plugged in. see if that works for ya

oh and i cant use the internet until i can fix the mouse because i need my cell phone as modem and the install part of my phone drivers needs to be clicked i cant tab over them... sucks.

it works and i tried resetting in more the one usb slot. i think i might need to update drivers... but i cant without the net and i can get on net without the mouse... fml. haha.

sometimes it can take up to 5 minutes for the machine to recognize the mouse and make it fully useable. How long are u leaving it in its respective port before removing it????
