Yes. Everything you have will be gone. Files will need to be backed up before you do this, assuming you want to keep them.

not if you do an upgrade install... which would require the equivalent version of vista (premium for premium or pro for pro) ... but it's always better to do a clean install instead of an upgrade.

I was going to order this with my .edu email address until I saw that it was the upgrade version.

Can someone verify to me that you can do a fresh install with this copy instead of just an upgrade?

yup.. just made sure the disk was bootable.. (i is scurred) and it is.. now burning a 2nd copy for teh safety!!

i used IsoRecorder, ripped my buddies RTM Ultimate copy & reburned.

Maybe I should host the ISO and get sued for millions.. just to help my CA friends.
