I know this probably sounds like a stupid question but how much does it usually cost to get your windows tinted? The tint on mine is pretty light, id like to get them darker.

75-90 for the fronts,, 130-150 for all the windows... anything more you should find another shop.... If you are skilled with your hands,, You can get PRE CUT window tint on ebay for 20 bucks shipped. Ive bought 2 kits for 2 of my cars, and both of them went on real easy.. and I havent had a bubble in the tint for over a year now.. so...

I dont know if I trust myself to do it. 20 bucks is tempting though. If I screwed up could I just remove it or would I totally f up my windows?

Its different all over the place. I paid 110 smacks for mine. Some guy I know paid 250 for his down the road from where I had mine done at, with less windows, lol! Just depends. I say anything more than 250 is a rip off. I wouldn't even go that high, but that is just me.

You can remove it, is not that hard. However putting it on if you have never done it before can be a bish. Some people just have a knack though. Never know till you try. I have done mine before and they come out ok, just too much of a headache for me.

Mine is 20%, but have had plenty of cars with double 5% and could barely see out at night time. I wouldn't go darker than single 5%. Even that is hard to see out at night for me.

Yeah I think I just want to get it done. I guess I just need to find a local auto shop that does it?

I paid $75 at a local shop to get my fronts matched to the rears. I was told most rear door windows are 18-20%, so that is what my fronts are.

1 positive about getting it done at a shop.. is lifetime warrenty..

i have 20 front, 5 in the rear on my SS.. Its not hard to do it though... its already pre-cut

I would look for a shop that tints to the top edge of the window and files it. My dad got his tinted at a different shop than I got mine at, and he has an edge at the top that shows the stock window. Mine looks much better in my opinion.

shop by me does it for 100 for the whole car. so i guess somewhere round 100-150 for all the windows.

you can get a 8 dollar kit @ autozone..

1 squegee

1 spray bottle. 98 percent water 2 percent soap

and a razor blade just incase you have extra tint hanging over..

Hmm I am going to call some shops to see what they charge and if I cant find something for around 100-150 then I think ill try to do it myself
