Window Tint

you can get a 8 dollar kit @ autozone..
1 squegee

1 spray bottle. 98 percent water 2 percent soap

and a razor blade just incase you have extra tint hanging over..
That is ok if you want to try it yourself, but in time it will fade quick!

I say go to local shop, spend a little chedder and get the lifetime warranty on the good tint and go from there. I also recommed 20%, not to dark or light. I never get messed with the cops either.

Look to pay around $25 for a good tint and stay away from the chains such as Mr Tint etc.

If you have a much higher level of patience than 99% of people you may want to try doing it yourself but it is def not for the weak or impatient //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

What is that per window, lol!

I want to know where I could get a tint job for that. I am thinking that was a typo. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Yeah per window. You kind of have to know someone but there are a lot of people who just run a single bay shop somewhere or just go and do dealerships when they get customer requests etc.

The guy I currently I met out here in MA does all of the cars at the local Bentley and Maserati dealership and has been doing it for about 15 years I think. $25 is a fair price IMO and you also want to get a lifetime warrenty if possible or at least a few years none of that 90 day or 1 year bullshit.

Agree! A lot of local car dealerships tint around here, however I never priced them, for whatever reason.

If you're going to do it yourself, you need a heat gun too.

Plus no lifetime warranty and a pretty much guarantee for bubbles and fading in the future doesn't sound too pleasing to me. lol

You can probably talk them into a little bit of a drop on price. They want your business obviously. My friends went in together and got theirs done for 85% of what it normally costs (125) so they only payed like 110. I mean every dollar counts, just make sure they do it right.

I got my 20% done on all side and rear window and 35% on my windshield cost like 100 dollars or something looks great //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
