will tuning my 18 too low make high end blow?

your a complete moron, running different subs in the same box is one of the dumbest things in the world of car audio.
your statements here have proven you know nothing about car audio and are probably one of the kids that thinks he is cool with his jl w3, kicker cvr, and sony explode 10s all in the same sealed box on a DUAL amp.

so please do us all a favor and dont post again until you understand the basic concepts of audio.
they can be ran in the same box as long as they are seperated from each other, seen it done

18" suboofers are made to basically only produce lows, your not going to get any mids or highs out of it. This is why i tell people to either get 12's or a few 10's best combination you will find. 18" and 15" only sound good if you throw in some 10's with it.
if the box has enough air space.
please find me a video or something showing that an 18" subwoofer will produce highs

Your logic is so bad, I ran an IP check to confirm you are just trolling on an AE.

Sadly, I came up with zero hits.

Lol, you need to go read a book.
READ A BOOK, READ A BOOK, READ A MOTHERF*CKIN BOOK!!

Mr. Klash, have you considered a bandpass? If you prefer a more linear spl curve that may be your ticket //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

More linear SPL curve, but with a narrower bandwidth. That cannot be forgotten.

I don't want a band pass, if I had enough money i'd do. Passive radiator design, but as it is, I'm just gonna tune to 31-32 hz and thenn add some mids on an amp

Dont listen to these guys, just get an 18, a 15, and a 12. if you crossover the frequencys youll play flat and wont need a bandpass. just make sure that you have atleast 5000 watts peak power all together.

I thought you were serious until the last sentence.

Lulzz

Ya, tuning too low restrains higher frequencies (that's alright, I hate anything above 50 hz for a sub anyways)
