Will tuning change with this?

I'm building a box for my 2 Atlas 15"s and the port dimensions are 7" wide with a 1st height of 17" and 2nd height of 12.5".

--The port is slotted and I'm tuning it to 33 Hz w/7 cubes net, but my question is when im figuring the tuning for the port at this site:

...since I have 2 different heights, should I add the two heights and divide by 2 to use 14.75" for height??

It's actually 1 slotted port in the middle of a box with a 15" Atlas on each side of the port. The mouth is 17" high by 7" wide, but the top of the box slopes down with the depth and that's why I have two different heigths in the port.

i would go with a round circle port using a pipe

i dont understantd why no one uses a pvc elbow to create an "L" circle port.

the decisions already been made for the slotted port so the only thing I have to worry about is the tuning problem?

That port will be near impossible to tune. It would have to remain constant. I recommend you use PVC.

If one of ya'll can tune the box to 33 Hertz w/square slotted port with a 7" wide port mouth X 17" height port mouth with a 2nd height at the back of the port being 12.5" and the box being 7 cubes net. The box is already made-the only thing I can change is the length of the port, already have the port mouth dimensions made so can't change that. If anyone could instruct me how to tune it to 33 Hz by using that site /\ -it would be greatly appreciated and I might throw something your way.

All you would really have to do is calculate for the right triangle of where the box actaully starts to slant. To much work for free, for me.

Edit-I was just wondering since I'm putting two boxes in my car-if I kept the tuning the same on both boxes but had different sized port areas: say 98^2 port area on one and 114^2 port area on the other-would I be running into cancellation issues or is that only when the tunings are different?
