Will this Setup Work?

So I am about to buy an amp and stereo to power two Kicker Solo-Baric S12a's in my car, and I am a total noob at this so I was wondering if a Sound Ordnance M-1350 Sound Ordnance™ M-1350 Mono subwoofer amplifier — 350 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms at Crutchfield.com for an amp and a JVC Arsenal KD-A525 JVC Arsenal KD-A525 CD receiver at Crutchfield Signature would work for a stereo. The amp has preamp inputs and the JVC has preamp outputs, and that's about all I know. Any advice? I don't want to spend $250 for parts that aren't compatible.
