I am thinking about running two 400w 12''s off a PG ZX800.1ti. The subs are dual voice coil and the the amp puts out 800x1 at 2ohm. Would I bridge the subs to 2ohm then run in series? Not too familiar with mono block amps. Wondering if I should get a ZX1000.2ti instead. Thanks for any input.

What do you expect people to say here? Adequate for what? What subs are they? There is a lot more to woofers than impedence. What enclosure? What vehicle? Are you just looking for a circle jerk commentary? I can do that I guess..... Oh yeah it will be straight bangin' brah. Just make sure you have like 50 farads of capacitance.

Pioneer Champion series, prob sealed enclosure 1.25cubic feet a piece. I know PG is underated but I wanna make sure I'm running the subs to the full potential. Dont wanna circle jerk response, brah. Sorry if my lingo isn't up to par...

The new PGs are nothing like the old ones and those subs are very low budget drivers

Id sit down and figure out exactly what all you will be installing for amperage consumption and add another 10-15% amperage useage on top of that...
