Will this box work? Type R 12''

I finally have the time to build my box this weekend and i'm just making sure this box will fit a 12'' type R... and I have an extreme noob question, this is only my second box so bare with me, and my first box was a 1 cuft sealed, pretty basic haha.

Does the cutout for the sub have to be exactly centered as it is in the box plan to achieve the right specs of the box? Or can the hole be more to the left... or right, etc...

it's out of the free box plans, 2.35 cuft @ 33hz.

**edit**

I just realized how stupid the question of will the sub fit in this box was, the sub is completely to the right of the port pieces, I was thinking for some reason it was going to go below one of the port pieces and have to fit inbetween.

That box should be fine using only 500 watts. It doesn't matter where you put the sub cut out.

Make sure to throw a 45 in the port corner too. right angled ports **** anyways, run it straight out the side.
You're just going to confuse the guy...I had a pair of 12" type r's in 4 cubes tuned to 35Hz and it didn't get low enough for me. 2.35 cubes will be good at 33Hz. If he wants he can go a tad bigger but it isn't necessary.

If someone could design a better box for me that would be great but like matt said, you're confusing me, i'm not stupid but things do quickly get confusing, because I am brand new in the car audio game, I was just picking a box from the free box plans because it's literally a drawn out plan to cut out and put together, couldn't get much easier ya know?

Where should I throw a 45? got me all lost man, haha.

lost and worried*** ~ i'll be cool with this box so long as it gets a bit louder than my 1cuft sealed box

lol just put a port in the sealed box... job done lol louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
The box is pretty tiny man i dunno, doesn't seem like a great idea, a friend was saying i should try it and I was like... hmmmmmm... probably not a good idea, haa.
