Gonna goto the scrap yard tommorow and pick me up 2 used agm batteries hopefully, and im going to put them in the trunk.

i want to wire this best as possible, and ill be using CCA as it is ALOT cheaper, ill be doing 6 runs im most likely going to do them UNDER the car as its quite a bit of wire to find a gromet for.

Is this wired correctly, and if not or can be MADE better, Please edit & repost //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

THANKS

I need to know also...I was gonna run Front Battery + -> 0 Gauge Fuse ---- 0 Gauge Fuse -> Back Battery + Then just ground the back battery to the body, after that hook up my back battery to power distro 1/0 in / two 4ga out to my 2 amps....will that work?

yep. that is correct.
oh really it is? lol, whyd that asshat tell me it was wrong, i need that many fuses? what size for each 250 ?

is there anyway i canmake it better?

and coudl you link me to something i can useon my batteries, or should i just copper terminals and use bolts on the batteries

thats gonna be alotta wire under the hood haha

also: what size conduit would i use to cover the runs of 0 awg, http://www.homedepot.com could u find me something ? i think im gonna buy audio technix $59 for 50' 4700 strands

everyone here says you're good.

fuse for the wire - either 200A or 250A depending on what you get.

it will be bulky. finding a place for the fuses and wire to route will be a PITA.

i suspect you will need a separate piece for each wire to protect it - so six holes. better to make those holes through the floor in the rear than the firewall - and the run will be shorter since it doesn't have to go around interior panels.

you don't have to put the wire in conduit under the car but if you did it would be much more protected - something non-metallic (RNC) or even plumbing PVC. be sure to let it drain somehow

okay ill have to buy a couple more of these i guess, i dont have to fuse from + to + on batteries in the trunk ?

i think im deffinately gonna run it under the car, im just not sure what would be best to buy from home depot as i need almsot 100 ftof it

im guesisng ill run it from the battery down under the hood under the car into the trunk, hoping theres holes there already if not ill have to make some

you don't need to fuse between the batteries because they are next to each other. you fuse power wire runs that travel through the car and are prone to damage.

i would buy 100' of split loom sized for the wire. loom each wire from start to finish.

then try to route them side-by-side so they aren't thick or hanging down. you could neatly mount them using larger wire mounts like these:

just buy some aluminum strips, cut and bend, then attach with self-tapping (or self-piercing) sheet metal screws (short). take care to not drill into wire inside the car.
