Will this be enough?

I got a new car and was wondering if the stock battery supplemented with my Stinger SP1000 would be enought to power my Diamond 1200.1 without any dimming or anything. I have a Chrysler 300C with a 730CCA battery and a 160 amp alt.

ok, cool. I was thinking I should get an Optima to replace the stock battery but I guess not.

You have plenty of current available, but dimming is a strange thing.

Sometimes an alt that can unload serious current can't respond quite fast enough to eliminate all dimming.

Your charging system is fine, but there are no guarantees you won't have any dimming.

I've got some 1/0 wire so I might try to do some parts of the big 3. My battery is already in the trunk so the alt + to battery + would be one hell of a run. Maybe just the battery - to chassis -.........
