Will this be enough power??????

Ok so my setup has changed about 19 times threw the build...changed subs..changed amps...changed wiring...so i am now wondering if my wiring will work..so heres the setup..

Infinity kappas front and rear

component amp (using and old jbl for now bout 400w rms)

Subs 2 RE SE D4 12's

Sub Amps 2 ZX750.1's AKA "THE TWINS" wired at 2 ohm

Knu Konceptz 1/0 wire

stock battery

stock 130 amp alternator

ok so at the moment i have major light dimming and if i am running headlights or heater or something with alot of electrical draw my amps will shut off if i crank it up..

So the question is do you guys think the Big 3 and a new(upgraded) battery up from will be sufficient? This is all in a 95 mustang gt so im really trying to keep the weight down..

Yes probably. Big 3, good wire and new deep cycle batterie(s).Probably want to add a second deep cycle battery to keep the dips to a min.

Get better components. Skip the rear speakers and get some better 6 1/2"'s up front.

this. i have about the same power as you with just a slightly smaller alt. i get no dimming now and my volts stay around 13.6-8 with heavy bass

Did you ground your amps to your chas? or did you run another run of 1/0 to the negative on the battery?

all my grounds for my amps are to the - extra battery post and then grounded under seat bolt. never had any problems

Are you running 2 batteries?? I really didnt want to add another battery, like i said im trying to keep the weight down.

Grounded to the chasis right now but i am considering running another ground from battery

ok today i did the big 3 and put the new run 1/0 wire in and i will say it helped but my amp guage is still goin nuts and the lights are dimming still...would a major battery upgrade help any?? Like an optima under the hood or am i going to have to add another battery??

what two batteries do you already have? change the weaker one out for a yellow top or something around that.

no im only running a cheap a$$ autolite silver or some shlt like that...lol...no second battery
