will this amp push subs or highs?

my friend is selling a pioneer GM 7100M amp... 1 channel.. mono

will this push two 10" sony explodes? they aren't real good subs but will they push them enough??? or is this amp for door speakers... i have kicker coaxial door speakers in the front... can i use them for those??

i am asking because my little bro needs some subs in his civic and i can get that amp from my friend for like $30-$40.......

Well its for subs, Umm not sure on the RMS of Sony xplods. Just check the peak watts and RMS levels. Im reading that its good on 4 ohms, so don't bridge to two lol.

for 30 bucks its good though the suggested price is 220$

on the sub.. it says peak power- 1100 W... rated power- 300W, impedance- 4 ohm

Your wanting to push two? Then no, this amp will not be good. You'll need two of them, because its a one channel, it has a continuous power of 250 watts, and it peaks at 500, so it will push it, but not to what your subs can handle.
