Will This Amp Fully Power My subs?

I own 2 Alpine Type R 12'' 1242-D Dual Voice 4-Ohm. I was wondering what amp will fully power these subs. I was thinking of getting a Alpine PDX-M12 ,would this be a good amp? Or please post any other good amps that will get my subs fully powered. And how would i wire the subs on a ported box to get the best power.

The Alpine would be fine since it does 1200 watts RMS at 4 AND 2 ohms, you'll just have to do a series-parallel wiring since you have two dual 4 ohm subs and the amp is not rated to do a 1 ohm load.
