Hey guys, this is my first post here, but Ive bee lurking for the past few weeks.
Ive started an upgrade on my sounds system because I want my bump back and better then ever.
As I said Ive been lurking and reading up for the past couple weeks and now this is what I have ordered (all due in by friday plan on installing this weekend).
x2 TC Sounds TC-1000 12"s DVC 4ohm
Power Acoustik SL-2000d
1.75cube per side ported box
Now from reading and researching on the Power Acoustik amps are overrated, but Ive also seen a few members who are running the 3000db but i could hardly find a word on the new series. So the SL-2000d is rated at 1600w RMS at 1 ohm which is what ill be running (in a perfect world of course). I plan on performing the Big 3 this weekend will rerunning all new power wires as well.
So my question is this I know the Power Acoustik is overrated, but will it still have enough overhead to run the TC-1000s at their rated 400w rms comfortably, or should i not even open it and return it for the sl-2600d.
Thanks
