small boxes can take power more easy but bigger ones are more efficientbig box? someone on here told me to get a smaller box :/
Box size does not change the thermal power handling capabilities of the subwoofer. It just increases the power required for the subwoofer to reach its mechanical limits.small boxes can take power more easy but bigger ones are more efficient

Piece of ****. Buy something quality. If you don't have the funds at least buy an amp that does rated. Alot of "ballers on budgets" go for the Audio pipe 1500.. .Which I think is garbage but you might want to give it a try.what about his amp ?POWER ACOUSTIK CPT1-2200D MONOBLOCK AMPLIFIER CAR AMP | eBay and if i bridge my subs its still 2ohm right?
Don't mistake sending the subs less than rated power as being safe because you're subs are rated to handle more then the amp can output. Subs almost always can handle a little more then their ratings as long as it is a clean signal and clean power. Sometimes people buy amps that output less and want more loudness or bass from them and end up cranking up the settings sending distortion to the subwoofer. Distortion will fry subs even if the amp doesn't send as many watts as the sub is rated to handle.ok id dont have to be exact match even a little under so i know ill never really stress or blow subs so when i hook it up should i bridge them? there 2ohm
I've seen a couple audiopipes in action, I don't think they're the bees knees, but I'm starting to suspect the people who are buying them and saying they send "dirty" power, simply don't have a solid electrical system to hold the voltage to them therefor they are getting distortion trying to get rated power out of them. They are ok amp especially with cost in mind, but you always need the proper electrical setup to handle the amp.Piece of ****. Buy something quality.
