how the hell often does a pilot have to deal with this situation!?...personally i take off from treadmills everydayNo doubt. How are you going to be a pilot and think that?
You didn't miss much, the show was super boring and in the end it did take off.I missed it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
You dont think a pilot should know that the wheels are free spinning and have no effect on velocity of the airplane? I personally find that kind of scary.how the hell often does a pilot have to deal with this situation!?...personally i take off from treadmills everyday
The speeds were matched...the wheels are free-spinning...you're retarded.plane was going faster.
no match speeds.

all pilots should know that, but i understood the myth to be that there was no forward movement....no forward movement = no flow across the wing. i didn't realize that the question was whether or not the plane could move forward on a treadmill..You dont think a pilot should know that the wheels are free spinning and have no effect on velocity of the airplane? The title of this thread is?i didn't realize that the question was whether or not the plane could move forward on a treadmill..
