Will the CD7200 MKII be worth it? (Over 880PRS)

Well, will the new Eclipse CD7200 MKII be worth dealing with the crappy interface in order for the sound quality/control and USB as opposed to the 880PRS?

I use my USB 90% of the time, so it's important to me, but SQ and control/tuning is very important as well. I can get the 880 for $100 and buy a USB adapter for it and be done. Or I can sell my 6900 and wait for the CD7200 MKII to come out and buy that, but I'll be without music from now until the 7200 is for sale on the net.

So, will the 7200 be worth it over the 880/800 in features/SQ to be worth the wait and interface?

Nope, 800PRS has no USB, just like the 880. Check the pictures of the unit's backside on the website. Also check the Owner's Manual on the website for reassurance. I've already done both, but just so you know if you wanna check it out.

I would be all over the 7200mkII if it weren't for the crap-ass user-interface of the 7100 that looks to have been copied over to the 7200. I'm just gonna wait and see what people say when it comes out. Hopefully I can play with it at Best Buy or something //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Hmm... why not the Eclipse? It's more feature-packed and for less money I believe.

Is the X991 known to be better than the 880/800?

Haha, don't take either of our words to be 100% fullproof. It may end up with USB, though I don't know why Pioneer would go OUT of their way to exclude it from the manual //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif And from the rear of the unit lol.
