Will the CD7200 MKII be worth it? (Over 880PRS)

Then it supports USB then.
Not built in. The 880 "supported" USB by your definition. But a lot of websites that covered CES indicated built-in USB on the 800, but that's not the case. The only big feature that would CLINCH the 800 over the 880 would be built-in USB, everything else is the exact same apart from color and copper plate.

Otherwise it's just $100 more. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

That proves nothing. See the HDRadio logo? I bet you $100 it doesn't have HD Radio built in //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif
As I said, check the website and owner's manual, no USB. It's only supported via IP-Bus adapter, CD-UB100.

Believe me... I've been obsessing over the 800's ***POSSIBLE*** USB built in for a month, it's just not there.

It doesnt have HDradio built in. Its HD radio ready.

I believe the manual and the specs on the website is not updated. They are using the 880 info.

Just look at the pictures man. If anything can prove it to you, that can. There is no USB anywhere on the back of the unit. Unless they added a USB dongle to the RCA pigtail (doubtful) or to the Power pigtail (really doubtful), there's no USB.

I guess they could always just throw in the adapter with the 800 and call it built-in, even though it would use the IP-Bus, but who knows. I just don't see it. Believe me, I wish it was there, but I don't see it.

x2.

Upon checking pioneer's website I noticed under the 800's accessories there is no mention of a usb adaptor but looking at the deh-3000ib it mentions the usb adaptor,I also looked at the picture with the back showing, just wishful thinking i guess.

There's no mention of a USB adapter under the 880's accessories either, but it still needs one //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Would it be dumb to trade my model + $100 for an 880 to hold me over til the 7200 and 800 are out and then sell my 880 for one of the new ones? Is that too much hassle? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I can either do that, or just take the 880 and be done (with no USB), or take the $230 refund and have a hole in my dash until a new unit comes out...

Yeah that's too much of a hassle, just wait if you want the 7200 but why even consider getting the 880 then replacing it with the 800 if they are the same.

Yea it would be 880 -> 7200. And considering the 7200 is supposed to be out within a few weeks, I should just wait and see.

**** bad timing! lol... two months from now it would be an obvious choice! lol

I dunno about the sq battle. My 880 sounded much better out of the box than my 7100, and it was just horrible, even the replacement one i got from eclipse sucked.
