Will stock nightshades handle 2400 rms each?

Lookin to get somthing louder than my hdc3's. I have talked to Jacob about gettin some custom 15" nightshades made with a longer coil, extra spider, and new cooling and glue. But is that necessary over the sotck 1500 rms nighshaded. He said the custom will be able to take 2-2500 daily. I just want to make sure that the stock wont be smelling or get too hot. I will be using my crossfire vr4000d, and all will be set correctly. Will stocks do, or will I need customs. I like to play loud for more than 10 minutes and I dont think the hdc3's do it for me.

umm ok, people run over 1500 daily to them and I was wondering how they are liking it. BTW Jacob never told me that it couldn't be done, he was just suggesting another option knowing that I would be completely satisfied.

then you need to reword your orignal question because as is now you are asking if a custom can take exactly what jacob said it could

yes I will fix that minor clause for some of you, but as the title says "stock nightshade"...

any opinions on this, or is anyone sending that kind of power to them. The customs will run about $350 more.

I'm running .5ohm on a 3000D to my Nightshade 18" and it takes it all day long..

Granted, its beefed up to take it...longer coil, extra spyders, and extra cooling....and its well worth it....

I'm leaning toward the customs...

How big of a differance do you think the customs would be with 4500 ish goin to 2, over the stocks with 3000?

Looking for a daily 150 and trailblazers aren't that easy to get loud. Thinkin these nightshades would be better for me over th nighshades

Ricky's subs have 5 spiders - the hardest pack I make.

They have the cooling option pole-plug.

They also have the long coil.

Would be awesome to burp alot of power on.

All of this stuff is brand new - just built the subs for Ricky.
