Will sound deadener even help in Jeep Soundbar?

I’m installing 6.5” speakers in the soundbar of my new Jeep Wrangler and noticed several videos showing people installing sound deadener inside, behind the speakers. Will this even make a noticeable difference?

I previously asked about the polyfil, kind of along the same lines. Seems like a waist of time and money.
