Will polyfill help here......

My current setup is a 10" Type R in a 1.25 enclosure ported at 32Hz. After displacement it puts my enclosure at about 1.2 and from what I read it would probably like the enclosure to be a little bigger. I read the thread on SSA about Polyfill and what I'm wondering if it I stuffed maybe half a pound of polyfill in there how much would it change the size of my enclosure (in the Type R's mind of course) and also from my reading it seems that it would also change my tuning so how much would it affect that also.

Im not answering the question but asking another. Would't adding Polyfill make the enclosure smaller?

It makes the encloure seem bigger.

The fill will change your tuning only slightly, like 2hz or so lower, it will also signifigantly lower the output around tuning, probably 3-5db less.

There's no harm in trying it out, and it's easily reversable, I say try it and see.

Can I just stuff it in the box or do I have to like staple it to the box or somethin?

my suggestion would be to put or staple something like a metal screen over where your port ends inside your box. that way it cant ecscape
