Where do you recommend i get a get Alternator from for the Bronco?

I don't have experience with anyone other than DC Power Inc. I have a 270XP from them and it's been great, voltage is good and quality is great. There are a few others out there, Mechman, Ohio Gen, Tenney, and a couple others I can't think of right now. If one of these is local, go that route.

I did get a 200a from Excessive Amperage about a year ago, and its been doing me pretty good so far.

PowerBastards sells one for my bronco that puts out 220+ at 1200 rpms for $350. Would that be good?

Instead of buying that XS, why not buy a Deka or something and save 100 bucks?

There's a reason the XS are so expensive...bud over in NH is running a saz-3k @1ohm off a D3400 and a 150A stock alt and he doesn't drop below 13v

Do you have a 200A in there now, or is that a different vehicle? Also, I missed the part about running it at 2 ohms. Sorry. Get the battery first, you will want that if you get an alt or not, and you might be just fine. Just buy a voltage meter as well and watch it the first couple times you turn it up and watch your volume knob, and then decide if you need an alt or not. You might not.

Its a 1996 Ford Bronco with the 5.0L, i just dont want the Amp to draw so much power from the XS and the Alternator not keep up with it, then end up with an expensive paper weight.
