Will one Big Battety with Stock Alt be enough

I had a DC 2.0k on my c&d 102 ah with no big three and no alt wired at 1. I would say if it is the bs version which is under 2k@2 then you are good. I would highly recommend saving money on a different batt though if your not going to go above 2k

Just because the alt is 160A doesn't mean you have much overhead. What kind of car do you have? You should be alright, but don't expect voltages to stay up in the 14V range if you're playing loud.

Its a 1996 Ford Bronco with the 5.0L, i just dont want the Amp to draw so much power from the XS and the Alternator not keep up with it, then end up with an expensive paper weight.

Just one? With the stock Alt? Should be good for 2500rms. Will be using all 0 gauge, and Big 3.
my audi is 165 amps, the entire car is electric, so it was pulling a lot of amps just to run the car alone. i had the big three done and a kinetik hc1800 in the back and i was running a dc 2.0k @.5 ohms and the lowest i dropped was 12.99 a the rear battery. you are going to be running more wattage, but with the higher ohm load i think you will be fine.

Well it's older, so you should have a decent amount of overhead. I'd say get the battery, buy a voltage meter, and watch it the first few times you really fire up the amp. Just be careful on the volume and the gain, be sure you're not clipping. If it's dropping too much and you need to get an alternator, then you would have wanted to buy a battery anyway.

Well i already have over $2000+ in the ebay cart, if i see big drop in Voltage then ill just fork out another 400 for an alternator.

Realize what your voltages will look like if you are buying a big battery instead of a big alternator. Your voltage will stabilize at a lower number, and don't be surprised if it's your battery's resting voltage.

Where do you recommend i get a get Alternator from for the Bronco?
