I recently upgraded my alternator to a mechman 250 amp. After I installed a Sony Double din touch screen and JBL Mono and 4 channel my stock alternator couldn't power it all. I also have a XS Power 935 in the trunk with it (but no isolator yet) and a stock duralast under the hood. I want to upgrade my mono and subs to maybe a RF t1000 and p3s but I'm asking if this new alternator will power that or will I have to buy another alternator. Just want some input before I make a decision.

i say you should be good. do the big 3,, use good wire, make sure your ground are good.

im using a 200amp alt. powering about 2800 rms . and im on the edge right now. so im going to put another alt. on my truck. so ill be running 2 alts.

You should be fine. Also, you don't need an isolator. Unless you plan to listen to music with the car off and don't want to worry about your 'starting battery' draining then just running your batteries in parallel will be sufficient.
